◎影片剧情： This movie is adapted from a play by a high school drama club, directed by Shinhiro Yamashita of Linda Linda (2006). This is essentially a movie made by teenagers about their growth. During the summer vacation, in a high school, the physical education teacher asked girls who skipped class to clean the outdoor swimming pool. The drainage pool is filled with sand blown in from the nearby baseball field, and the task of shoveling up the sand and putting it into a bucket seems meaningless. Chizuru is unparalleled even for boys in the high school swimming club. She practices imaginary swimming in a sand filled pool, while Kokoro takes her feminine charm seriously by putting in makeup and doesn't care about cleanliness. With her own story, Miku, who diligently practiced dance movements typically performed by men, met and talked to Yui, who served as the captain of the swimming club last year, and other girls on the pool floor under the summer sun. There, unexpected conflicts arose and were resolved in unexpected ways. On a high school day, this movie interestingly showcases the emotions and desires, dreams and hopes, anger and frustration of that time.
